Job Description
Our client in California is seeking a dedicated Family Practice Nurse Practitioner for a 60-day assignment starting Apr 6, 2026. This role involves day shifts, where you will support clinical workflows, participate in clinic operations, and contribute to a proactive team culture, ensuring comprehensive patient care and front-office communication.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Provide comprehensive patient care, including rooming patients, obtaining vital signs, and clinical histories.
- Assist physicians with examinations and procedures, preparing patients and rooms as needed.
- Administer injections, medications, and vaccines.
- Perform select clinical procedures within the scope of practice.
- Assist with gynecologic examinations, including Pap smears, breast, and pelvic exams.
- Document patient encounters accurately within the EMR.
- Support house calls and telemedicine needs when required.
- Manage patient communication, including answering incoming calls, assisting with triage, and routing telephone encounters.
- Coordinate patient follow-up and care plans, maintaining exceptional responsiveness and professionalism.
- Assist with front-office communication and support clinical workflows across staff roles.
- Participate in clinic operations and patient coordination.
- Contribute to a positive, proactive team culture and a high-touch concierge patient experience.
