Job Responsibilities and Duties:

• Conduct daily rounds of 20-30 patients, starting at 7:30 AM

• Manage and treat patients in the medical unit, with a focus on detox cases

• Review patient issues and reasons for medical housing

• Collaborate with dental team to clear patients for extractions

• Handle administrative work, including timely email responses

• Occasionally round on sick patients within specific time windows

• Provide care for patients with opioid use disorder

• Consult on prenatal care cases as needed

• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records

• Adhere to all safety and security protocols specific to the correctional setting


Additional Information:

• Must be licensed to practice as a Nurse Practitioner in Massachusetts

• Experience with ERMA (Electronic Records Management Application) preferred

• Comfortable working in a correctional environment

• Strong communication and time management skills required
