Responsibilities and Duties:
• Conduct physical examinations and well visits
• Diagnose and treat common illnesses such as colds, coughs, and flu
• Perform sick visits and provide appropriate treatments
• Collaborate with the on-site doctor in patient care
• Develop and implement treatment plans
• Prescribe medications as needed
• Educate patients on preventive care and healthy lifestyles
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records using Tebra software
• Provide patient education on various health topics
• Refer patients to specialists when necessary
• Stay updated on current family practice guidelines and best practices
• Ensure compliance with all relevant medical and ethical guidelines
• Contribute to a positive and efficient healthcare team environment
Additional Information:
• Must be licensed as a Nurse Practitioner in Michigan
• Strong clinical skills in family practice essential
• Experience with electronic health records, specifically Tebra, preferred
• Excellent communication skills for patient and team interactions
