Experienced Family Practice Nurse Practitioner needed for a part-time locum tenens assignment in Utah. This 48-day position, starting 06/02/2025, requires coverage on Mondays from 9am to 6pm. The NP will provide comprehensive family medicine care, including procedures such as IUD removals, abscess drainage, IV therapy, and various preventive services. Responsibilities include performing mammograms, pap smears, physicals (including DOT exams), managing chronic conditions like diabetes and hypertension, and prescribing medications. The ideal candidate should be comfortable with a diverse range of primary care services and have experience in women's health. Proficiency in Practice Fusion EHR is required. This opportunity offers potential for extension beyond the initial contract period.

Job Responsibilities and Duties:
• Provide comprehensive family medicine care
• Perform IUD removals and abscess drainage
• Administer IV therapy for dehydration cases
• Conduct mammograms and pap smears
• Perform physical examinations, including DOT physicals
• Manage chronic conditions such as diabetes and hypertension
• Order and interpret lab work
• Prescribe medications, including controlled substances (CSR 2-4)
• Provide follow-up care and patient education
• Maintain accurate and timely electronic health records using Practice Fusion
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals as needed
• Adhere to all facility policies and procedures

• Must be licensed to practice as an NP in Utah
