Job Description

A Clinic in Washington is seeking a skilled Family Practice Nurse Practitioner for a locum tenens assignment through Barton Associates. This 60-day opportunity begins on June 23, 2025, with potential for extension. The ideal candidate will be able to work Monday-Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM and have experienced in a wide range of family medicine procedures and treatments, including management of chronic conditions, minor procedures, and participation in a Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) program.

Job Responsibilities and Duties:

- Provide comprehensive family medicine care

- Manage chronic conditions such as hypertension and diabetes

- Treat acute conditions including cold, flu, strep, and ear infections

- Perform minor procedures including:

 - Toenail removal

 - Suturing

 - Incision and drainage (I&Ds)

 - Nexplanon insertion and removal (training provided on-site)

 - Wound care

 - Wart removal

- Participate in the Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) program


Additional Information:

- Experience in family medicine and minor procedures required

- Willingness to learn and perform Nexplanon insertions and removals

- Comfort with MAT program participation
