We are seeking a licensed Family Practice Physician Assistant for a 120-day locum tenens assignment at a Multi-Specialty Clinic in California. Starting 05/19/2025, this role requires expertise in primary care triage for patients of all ages via telehealth. The ideal candidate will work Monday through Friday, 8 hours per day, managing virtual patient consultations. This position offers the opportunity to provide critical care in a telehealth setting, with a potential for assignment extension. Experience with OB patients is beneficial but not required.

Responsibilities and Duties:
• Conduct telehealth consultations for patients of all ages
• Perform primary care triage via virtual platform
• Assess patient conditions and provide appropriate care recommendations
• Collaborate with Call Center Triage RNs who manage virtual waiting rooms
• Utilize Epic (ochin) electronic health record system
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
• Adhere to telehealth protocols and best practices in family medicine
• Provide patient education and counseling as needed
• Manage a diverse range of primary care concerns
• Adapt to the unique challenges of telehealth service delivery
Additional Information:
• Experience in telehealth or remote patient care is highly desirable
• Strong communication skills for effective virtual patient interactions
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced telehealth environment
• Comfort with technology and virtual care platforms
• OB experience is beneficial but not mandatory
