Job Description
We are seeking a nationally certified Family Practice Physician Assistant for an 80-day locum tenens assignment in California. This opportunity begins on Nov 3, 2025, and features a Monday through Friday schedule from 8 am to 5 pm in a walk-in clinic setting. The ideal candidate will possess current board certifications in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Urgent Care, along with active licensure in California and proficiency with the Epic EMR system.Job Details

Responsibilities and Duties
- Provide acute and routine medical care for walk-in patients in a clinic setting
- Conduct patient assessments, examinations, and histories
- Diagnose and manage common illnesses and injuries
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests as appropriate
- Prescribe medications and develop patient care plans
- Collaborate with supervising physicians and clinic staff to ensure high-quality care
- Utilize Epic EMR for clinical documentation
- Maintain compliance with clinic protocols and regulatory requirements
Additional Information
- Must hold a current California PA license
- National certification as a Physician Assistant required
- Board certification in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Urgent Care required
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), and DEA certification required
- Experience in fast-paced clinic environments preferred
