Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Family Practice Physician Assistant for a 120-day locum tenens assignment in California. This opportunity begins on Dec 1, 2025, and features a consistent schedule of four 10-hour days per week, Monday through Thursday. The ideal candidate will have strong Family Medicine experience, be comfortable prescribing, and possess proficiency with EMR systems.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide comprehensive patient care in a Family Medicine setting

  • Utilize EMR systems efficiently for documentation and patient management
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals
  • Ensure high standards of patient safety and confidentiality
  • Maintain Basic Life Support (BLS) certification in clinical practice


Additional Information

  • Must have active California license and required board certification in Family Medicine
  • Family Medicine experience required; not accepting new graduates
  • Must be comfortable with prescribing and demonstrate strong EMR or technical skills
