We are seeking an experienced Family Practice Physician Assistant for a 120-day locum tenens assignment in California. This opportunity begins on Dec 1, 2025, and features a Monday through Friday schedule with day shifts. The ideal candidate will have experience in rural health, a strong understanding of quality metrics and preventative care, and a commitment to providing comprehensive patient care in a federally qualified health center (FQHC) setting.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Manage patients presenting with three or more complaints per visit
  • Deliver preventative care and monitor quality metrics
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation according to clinic protocols

Additional Information
  • Strong preference for bilingual candidates
  • Must be panelled with CA Medical and ORP
  • Commitment to the full 6-month assignment required
  • Must hold a valid California license as a Physician Assistant
  • Candidates with rural health experience are strongly preferred
