We are seeking a skilled Family Practice Physician Assistant for a locum tenens position through Barton Associates to fill an opening at a Multi-Specialty Clinic in Nebraska. This assignment starts on 07/01/2025, with an initial commitment of 6 days of coverage, working from 8 am to 4:30 pm. The schedule includes sporadic coverage as needed, with a guaranteed minimum of 2 shifts per month and potential for additional PTO coverage. The ideal candidate will be comfortable with bread and butter family medicine, including managing acute conditions like cold, cough, and flu, as well as chronic disease management for conditions such as diabetes and hypertension. Responsibilities include performing physical exams, ordering diagnostic tests, prescribing medications, developing treatment plans, and treating acute and chronic illnesses.
