Responsibilities and Duties: 

• Conduct two 1.5-hour sick calls daily, addressing acute care needs 

• Provide on-call coverage during non-sick call hours 

• Assess, diagnose, and treat various acute conditions 

• Collaborate with the head nurse and nursing staff for patient care 

• Utilize Campminder software for documentation and patient management 

• Maintain close proximity to the clinic during on-call hours 

• Adhere to all clinic policies and procedures 

• Ensure timely and appropriate medical interventions 

• Communicate effectively with patients and staff 

• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of family practice and acute care best practices


Requirements: 

• Active New York state license as a Physician Assistant

• Experience in family practice and acute care settings 

• Ability to work independently and make quick, sound clinical decisions 

• Proficiency in using Campminder software (or willingness to learn quickly) 

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills 

• Flexibility to work daily for the duration of the assignment
