Job Description

We are seeking a Family Practice Physician Assistant for a 60-day locum tenens assignment in Wyoming, starting Oct 27, 2025. This position offers a Monday through Friday schedule with 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM shifts and 20-minute appointment blocks. The role involves rotating between three primary care clinics and requires comfort with high patient volume and rural or IHS experience.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide all aspects of primary care walk-in appointments
  • Rotate between three clinic locations as needed
  • Manage high patient volume with 20-minute appointment intervals
  • Collaborate with a team including two other providers, RN, and MA support per provider
  • Utilize Greenway EMR system for documentation and patient management
  • Deliver care to a diverse patient population, including pediatric patients


Additional Information

  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications required
  • Previous experience in rural or IHS settings preferred
  • Must be willing and able to start on either Oct 27, 2025 or Nov 3, 2025
