Experienced Family Practice Physician with a focus on pediatrics needed for a short-term locum tenens assignment in California. This 12-day opportunity, starting 05/12/2025, involves working at a clinic providing primary care services to pediatric patients. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM. The ideal candidate should be comfortable managing common pediatric conditions such as colds, coughs, flu, ear infections, as well as conducting physicals and administering vaccinations. Responsibilities and Duties:
• Provide comprehensive primary care services to pediatric patients
• Diagnose and treat common pediatric conditions including colds, coughs, flu, and ear infections
• Conduct routine physical examinations and health screenings
• Administer vaccinations according to recommended schedules
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests as needed
• Prescribe medications and develop treatment plans
• Provide patient and family education on preventive care and health maintenance
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals as needed
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records using Epic EMR
• Ensure adherence to all clinic policies and procedures
• Stay current with the latest pediatric care guidelines and best practices
Additional Information:
