Job Description

 We are seeking a board-certified Family Practice Physician for a unique hybrid locum tenens position in California. This opportunity offers an 18-day assignment starting on 06/27/2025, at a Private Practice setting. The schedule includes one in-person day per week (preferably Thursday or Friday, but flexible) from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, with potential for half-day weekend coverage. Additionally, there is one day of telehealth work weekly, seeing around 8 patients per day. The ideal candidate will be comfortable with a broad range of family practice cases, including senior wellness, adult medicine, women's health, and pediatric medicine.

Job Responsibilities and Duties:

• Provide comprehensive family practice care for patients of all ages

• Manage common conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, pain, arthritis, and asthma

• Conduct senior wellness exams and adult medicine consultations

• Offer women's health services and pediatric care

• Perform telehealth consultations one day per week

• Review patient cases in the EMR at the start of each shift

• Complete all necessary procedures efficiently throughout the day

• Provide detailed reports on patient encounters and treatments

• Utilize Practice Fusion EMR for patient documentation and management

• Adapt to both in-person and telehealth care delivery models


Additional Information:

• Active California medical license required

• Board certification in Family Medicine required

• Experience in diverse family practice settings preferred

• Strong skills in both in-person and telehealth patient care

• Excellent time management and organizational abilities
