Responsibilities and Duties
- Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses, including diabetes, asthma, and hypertension
- Provide preventive care such as routine checkups, health-risk assessments, immunizations, and screening tests
- Deliver personalized counseling on maintaining a healthy lifestyle
- Perform acute care services and chronic disease management
- Conduct appointments of 20 minutes each, with 40-minute slots for procedures such as Nexplanon and IUD placements
- Collaborate with medical assistants and utilize on-site interpretation services as needed
Additional Information
- 5+ years of experience required
- Massachusetts medical license required
- Spanish or Haitian Creole speaking is a plus, but interpretation services are available
- Board certification not required for this role
