Job Description

Our client, a private practice located in PA has requested a locum tenens Family Practice Physician to serve as the part-time Medical Director for their Pediatric Prescribed Extended Care Center (PPECC) starting May 22, 2025. This role involves advising the PPECC board via Zoom meetings, serving as a board signatory, and contributing to the facility's strategic direction and quality of care. The ideal candidate must hold an MD or DO degree, possess a current, active, and unrestricted Pennsylvania medical license, and be board-certified in Pediatrics. The primary meeting time is 2-3 PM EST, with flexibility for additional consultations. Location: Virtual (Zoom) but must hold an active Pennsylvania medical license.

Duties Include:

  • Advising on PPECC meetings with board members via a provided Zoom link.
  • Serving as a signatory for the board.

Requirements:

  • Must possess a current, active, unrestricted MD (Doctor of Medicine) or DO (Doctor of Osteopathy) license in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
  • Pediatric specialty board certification or other postgraduate preparation acceptable to the department.
