Job Description

We are seeking a Gastroenterology Physician Assistant for an 80-day assignment in Illinois, starting Jul 20, 2026. This role involves rounding, consults, and assisting physicians with bedside procedures, with shifts from 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM. The successful candidate will manage all general GI cases, focusing on pre-op and post-op care, including those for advanced procedures.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Rounding
• Consults
• Assisting the MD with bedside procedures
• Handle all general GI cases for pre-op & post-op
• Assist with pre-op & post-op care for patients undergoing advanced procedures (no first assisting)

Additional Information

• Board Certification in Gastroenterology required
• EMR: Epic
• Schedule: 7:30 AM - 5:30 PM shifts
