Job Description
We are seeking a Hospitalist Physician Assistant for a 30-day assignment with our client in Iowa, starting Jul 1, 2026. This role involves 10-hour shifts, caring for approximately 15 patients per day, managing 1-2 new encounters per shift, and providing consultations as needed. The successful candidate will be supported by an assigned Registered Nurse and will manage cases within an open ICU setting, including rounding on a ICU.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Manage approximately 15 patients per day.
- Handle 1-2 new encounters per shift.
- Provide consultations as needed.
- Collaborate with an assigned Registered Nurse for shift support.
- Perform rounding in a ICU.
- Conduct central line and PICC line procedures.
Additional Information
- Board Certified in Internal Medicine.
- Experience with Allscripts EMR system.
- Proficiency in central line and PICC line procedures required.
