Locum Tenens Physician Assistant - Hospitalist Needed in WI

Job Description

Our client in Wisconsin is seeking a dedicated Hospitalist Physician Assistant for a 24-day assignment starting May 4, 2026. This role involves night shifts, typically 6:30pm-6:30am or 7pm-7am, where you will round on overnight patients, manage acute care cases, minor trauma, and handle approximately one EICU case per day, focusing on adults.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Perform rounds on overnight patients.
• Manage acute care cases and minor trauma incidents.
• Oversee approximately one EICU case per day, involving slightly higher acuity.
• Execute general hospitalist inpatient procedures.
• Provide care exclusively to an adult patient population.

Additional Information

• EMR: Meditech EHR
• Board Certification: Acute Care Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (CPNP-AC)
• Required Certifications: ACLS and BLS
