 We are seeking a skilled Hospitalist Physician for a 90-day locum tenens assignment at a Multi-Specialty Clinic in New York, starting 07/01/2025. This position involves working night shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM, with a requirement of 10-15 shifts per month. The assignment includes specific coverage needs for July, including July 1-4, July 9, and July 14-23. The ideal candidate will be comfortable with rounding, admissions, and discharges for 16-18 patients per day in adult medical/surgical units. No procedures or ICU work are required. Proficiency with Epic EMR is essential for this role.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Provide night shift coverage for adult medical/surgical units

• Perform patient rounds on 16-18 patients per day

• Manage admissions and discharges efficiently

• Develop and implement treatment plans for hospitalized patients

• Collaborate with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals

• Maintain accurate and detailed medical records using Epic EMR

• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members

• Ensure continuity of care between day and night shifts

• Respond promptly to any medical emergencies during the night

• Adhere to hospital protocols and safety standards

Additional Information:
