Job Description

We are seeking a licensed Interventional Pain Management Physician in California for a locum tenens position at a Hospital. This 35-day assignment is spread across multiple weeks with a Monday to Friday work schedule from 8 AM to 5 PM. The physician will be responsible for providing care in both clinic and surgery center settings, handling new patient consults, follow-ups, and performing various pain management procedures. There is also potential for extension.

Responsibilities and Duties: 

• Provide comprehensive pain management care in both clinic and surgery center settings 

• Conduct new patient consultations and follow-up appointments 

• Perform various interventional pain procedures, including lumbar epidural steroid injections 

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients 

• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care 

• Maintain accurate and detailed medical records using Epic EMR system 

• Adhere to all relevant hospital policies and procedures 

• Educate patients and their families about pain management strategies and treatment options 

• Stay updated with the latest advancements in interventional pain management techniques

• Must be licensed to practice medicine in California
