Job Description

Our client in Arizona is seeking a dedicated Neonatology Nurse Practitioner for an 80-day assignment starting Apr 27, 2026. This vital role involves providing comprehensive inpatient care, including performing newborn and NICU assessments, diagnosing and managing acute and chronic neonatal conditions, interpreting diagnostic tests, and assisting with delivery-room care. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with neonatologists and the care team, educating and supporting families throughout their tenure.


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Perform newborn and NICU assessments.
  • Diagnose and manage acute and chronic neonatal conditions.
  • Order, perform, and interpret labs, imaging, and other diagnostic tests.
  • Assist with delivery-room care, resuscitation, and stabilization.
  • Place and manage invasive lines and other advanced procedures when trained and credentialed.
  • Educate and support families, and collaborate with neonatologists and the care team.
