 We are seeking a skilled Physician Assistant specializing in OB/GYN for a locum tenens assignment through Barton Associates. This opportunity is located in North Carolina and requires coverage for 48 days, starting 07/07/2025. The ideal candidate will work Monday through Friday, 8 am to 5 pm, for four weeks per month in an outpatient Women's Health Clinic. The role involves managing low-risk pregnancy patients, conducting annual women's health exams, performing Pap smears, treating urinary tract infections, addressing abnormal ultrasounds, and managing post-menopause abnormalities.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Provide comprehensive care for low-risk pregnancy patients

• Conduct annual women's health exams

• Perform Pap smears and other routine gynecological procedures

• Diagnose and treat urinary tract infections

• Interpret and address abnormal ultrasound results

• Manage post-menopause abnormalities

• Utilize Epic electronic health record system for patient management

• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care

• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records

• Adhere to all clinic protocols and safety standards

Additional Information:

• Must be licensed to practice in North Carolina

• Experience in outpatient women's health settings is preferred

• Proficiency in Epic is beneficial
