Schedule: Weekend call: Friday 5 PM - Monday 7 AM (2 weekends/month) Weekday clinic work
Responsibilities and Duties:
• Provide 24/7 out-of-house call coverage on assigned weekends
• Manage deliveries during call shifts
• Perform laparoscopic surgeries as needed
• Handle approximately 5 OB calls and 1-2 ED calls per shift
• See approximately 15 patients per day during weekday clinic hours
• Conduct patient examinations and develop treatment plans
• Perform routine and high-risk obstetrical care
• Manage gynecological conditions and perform related procedures
• Maintain accurate and detailed medical records
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
Additional Information:
• California medical license required for this position
• Must be comfortable with and able to produce case logs for both OB and GYN cases
• Strong experience in obstetrics and gynecology, including laparoscopic surgeries, is essential
• Ability to manage high-risk pregnancies and complex gynecological cases
• Comfort with out-of-house call and ability to respond promptly when needed
