 Experienced OB/GYN Physician needed for a locum tenens assignment in California. This 48-day opportunity, starting 06/02/2025, involves working at a multi-specialty clinic providing obstetric and gynecological care. The flexible schedule requires approximately 8 shifts per month, preferably consecutive. The role includes covering ED consults and performing deliveries, with an average of 3 deliveries per day. The ideal candidate should be comfortable with a range of OB/GYN services in both emergency and routine settings. This position offers flexibility and requires an active California medical license.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Provide obstetric and gynecological care in both emergency and routine settings

• Respond to OB/GYN consults in the Emergency Department

• Perform deliveries during shifts, averaging 3 per day

• Conduct prenatal and postnatal care

• Manage high-risk pregnancies as needed

• Perform gynecological procedures and surgeries

• Provide patient education on reproductive health and pregnancy

• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals for comprehensive patient care

• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records using Cerner EMR

• Ensure adherence to all clinic policies and procedures

• Stay current with the latest OB/GYN practices and guidelines

Additional Information:

• Must be licensed to practice medicine in California

• Board certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology required

• Experience in high-volume obstetrics preferred

• Proficiency with Cerner EMR system a plus

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
