Locum Tenens Physician - OB/GYN Needed in CA

 We are seeking a skilled OB/GYN Physician for a 60-day locum tenens assignment at a Multi-Specialty Clinic in California. Starting on 06/10/2025, this role offers a varied schedule including weekdays and two Saturdays per month. The position focuses on providing comprehensive OB/GYN care in a clinic-based setting, excluding deliveries. Responsibilities include seeing a mix of OB and GYN patients, performing follow-ups, IUD and Nexplanon insertions, Pap smears, and other standard clinic work. This opportunity may extend beyond the initial assignment period.

Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:30 AM-5:00 PM, Two Saturdays per month 7:00 AM-3:30 PM (with a weekday off when working Saturdays)

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Provide comprehensive OB/GYN care in an outpatient setting

• Conduct patient examinations and follow-up appointments

• Perform IUD and Nexplanon insertions

• Conduct Pap smears and other routine gynecological procedures

• Manage prenatal care for obstetric patients

• Address gynecological concerns and provide treatment plans

• Utilize eClinicalWorks electronic health record system

• Collaborate with other specialists in a multi-specialty clinic setting

• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records

• Adhere to all clinical protocols and safety standards

• Ensure high-quality patient care and satisfaction

Additional Information:

• California state medical license required

• Experience in outpatient OB/GYN care preferred

• Comfort working in a fast-paced clinical environment
