Locum Tenens Physician - OB/GYN Needed in OH

 We are seeking a licensed OB/GYN Physician for a 6-day locum tenens assignment at a Hospital in Ohio. Starting 06/17/2025, this role requires expertise in out-of-house inpatient coverage, including deliveries and C-sections. The physician will provide 24-hour out-of-house call coverage from 7am to 7am on specified dates in June. Key responsibilities include managing deliveries, performing C-sections, and potentially conducting LEEP procedures and elective inductions for ongoing coverage. This position offers an excellent opportunity to work in a facility with a nursery. An on-site orientation is required prior to the first call shift.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Provide out-of-house inpatient coverage

• Manage labor and delivery cases

• Perform C-sections as needed

• Handle obstetric emergencies

• Utilize Epic electronic health record system

• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records

• Collaborate with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals

• Assess and manage high-risk pregnancies

• Conduct LEEP procedures in OR (for ongoing coverage)

• Manage elective inductions (for ongoing coverage)

• Communicate effectively with patients and their families

• Ensure adherence to hospital protocols and best practices in obstetrics

• Adapt to the specific needs of a nursery

• Participate in on-site orientation prior to first call shift
