 We are seeking a skilled OB/GYN Physician for a 13-day locum tenens assignment in Texas, starting 07/24/2025. This opportunity involves providing 24-hour call coverage at a hospital, with an average of one delivery per day. The assignment spans multiple dates in July and August, offering a chance to make a significant impact in patient care. The ideal candidate will be comfortable managing obstetric emergencies and deliveries independently. This role utilizes the Meditech EHR system and requires proficiency in all aspects of obstetric care.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Provide 24-hour obstetric call coverage

• Manage labor and delivery cases, averaging one delivery per day

• Handle obstetric emergencies and complications

• Perform cesarean sections when necessary

• Provide pre and post-natal care as needed during call shifts

• Collaborate with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals

• Maintain accurate and timely medical records using Meditech EHR

• Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures

• Ensure patient safety and high-quality care at all times

• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and staff

Additional Information:

• Texas medical license required

• Board certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology preferred

• Experience in managing high-risk pregnancies and deliveries

• Strong clinical decision-making skills and ability to work independently

• Flexibility to work 24-hour shifts on specified dates
