Job Responsibilities and Duties:
• Perform comprehensive pathological examinations and diagnoses
• Conduct grossing of specimens independently
• Analyze and interpret anatomic pathology specimens of all types
• Provide expertise in GI, Breast, Prostate, and Stem Prep pathology
• Carry out cytological examinations and interpretations
• Perform clinical pathology duties as required
• Collaborate with clinical teams to ensure accurate and timely diagnoses
• Participate in multidisciplinary conferences as needed
• Maintain accurate and detailed pathology reports using eClinicalWorks system
• Adhere to all laboratory policies and procedures
• Contribute to quality assurance and improvement initiatives
• Stay current with advancements in pathology and laboratory medicine
Additional Information:
• Maine state medical license required
• Board certification in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology preferred
• Experience with eClinicalWorks system is beneficial
