 We are seeking a skilled Pediatric Nurse Practitioner for a locum tenens position at a well-established outpatient pediatric practice in New York. This 50-day assignment offers flexible scheduling options, starting immediately. The ideal candidate will be comfortable with both well visits and sick visits in a high-volume, scheduled appointment setting. The practice operates similarly to an urgent care but with pre-scheduled visits. Depending on the provider's background and preference, shifts are available from 9 AM to 5 PM (focusing on well visits) or 1 PM to 9 PM (focusing on sick visits). This position presents an excellent opportunity for a dedicated professional to provide comprehensive pediatric care in a sought-after practice, with potential for assignment extension.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Conduct well-child visits and physical examinations

• Diagnose and treat acute and chronic pediatric conditions

• Perform developmental screenings and assessments

• Provide immunizations and health education to patients and families

• Manage and coordinate patient care with other healthcare providers

• Maintain accurate and timely patient records using eClinicalWorks EMR system

• Ensure high-quality patient care and follow all practice protocols and safety standards

• Adapt to the practice's existing workflows and high patient volume

• Collaborate effectively with the healthcare team and support staff

• Provide patient and family education on various pediatric health topics
