Job Description

 We are seeking a skilled Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner for an 8-day locum tenens assignment at a Rehabilitation Center in Massachusetts, starting 05/05/2025. The ideal candidate will work on-site Mondays from 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM and Wednesdays from 8:30 AM to 12:30 PM. This role involves providing comprehensive psychiatric care, including initial evaluations, medication checks and management, and prescribing controlled substances. Responsibilities include conducting psychiatric admissions, creating health management plans, performing psychiatric evaluations within 48 hours of patient entry, and conducting weekly check-ins. The NP will use the Kipu system for patient management. This opportunity offers a chance to work in a dynamic rehabilitation setting with potential for extension.
