We are seeking an experienced Psychiatrist for a 220-day locum tenens assignment in a New Jersey private practice, starting 05/05/2025. This opportunity offers flexible scheduling options, with the ability to work part-time or full-time, Monday through Friday. The psychiatrist will primarily treat high-functioning patients with conditions such as anxiety, depression, and ADHD. The role requires seeing patients for 5-10 hours per week initially, with the potential for increased hours in the future.

Responsibilities and Duties: 

• Evaluate and treat patients with various mental health conditions, focusing on anxiety, depression, and ADHD 

• Conduct psychiatric assessments and develop treatment plans 

• Prescribe and manage medications as needed 

• Provide follow-up care and monitor patient progress 

• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care 

• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records using Simple Practice software 

• Adhere to all state regulations and practice guidelines 

• Participate in team meetings and case discussions as required 

• Contribute to the overall quality of mental health services provided by the practice

Additional Information: 

• Must be licensed to practice psychiatry in New Jersey 

• Experience in treating high-functioning patients is preferred 

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team 

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills 

• Familiarity with Simple Practice software is beneficial
