 Barton Associates is seeking a Psychiatrist for a locum tenens position in New York. This 90-day assignment begins on 06/23/2025, with a potential for extension. The provider will work Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM. The psychiatrist will primarily work in the Emergency Department conducting consultations and rounding on patient floors. Key responsibilities include emergency psychiatric evaluations, patient admissions, medical floor consults, and managing psychiatric episodes in the inpatient unit. The ideal candidate should be comfortable with handling approximately 5-10 ED and 2-4 Consultation-Liaison cases daily, determining appropriate patient dispositions, and working with various hospital departments.

Job Responsibilities and Duties:
