 Barton Associates is seeking a Rheumatologist for a locum tenens position in Georgia. This 150-day assignment begins on 07/21/2025, with potential for extension. The provider will work Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with a minimum commitment of two weeks per month and the option for full-time coverage. This outpatient role involves managing a diverse caseload of rheumatological conditions, including various types of arthritis, inflammatory diseases, and autoimmune connective diseases. The rheumatologist will see a mix of new patients and follow-ups, perform arthrocentesis, and manage osteoporosis cases with on-site infusion capabilities. This position offers flexibility and does not include inpatient or on-call duties.

Job Responsibilities and Duties:

• Provide outpatient rheumatology care for new patients and follow-ups

• Oversee osteoporosis treatment, including on-site infusions

• Utilize Meditech EHR for patient documentation

• Collaborate with hospital staff and other specialists as needed

• Ensure high-quality patient care and follow-up

• Adhere to hospital policies and procedures

• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of rheumatological practices and treatments

Additional Information:

• Georgia state medical license required
