We are seeking a licensed Physician Assistant specializing in Urgent Care to fill a critical locum tenens position at a Multi-Specialty Clinic in California. This 120-day assignment begins on 05/05/2025, with a Monday to Friday work schedule from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. The ideal candidate will be comfortable managing urgent care walk-ins and working in a multi-specialty clinic environment. Responsibilities include providing urgent care services, conducting patient assessments, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals. Responsibilities and Duties: 

• Provide urgent care services to walk-in patients 

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and examinations 

• Diagnose and treat a wide range of acute illnesses and injuries 

• Prescribe medications and treatments as appropriate 

• Order and interpret diagnostic tests 

• Provide patient education on health maintenance and disease prevention 

• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals for patient care 

• Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical records using Epic (OCHIN) 

• Adhere to all clinic protocols and safety procedures 

• Participate in quality improvement initiatives

Additional Information: 

• Must be licensed to practice as a Physician Assistant in California 

• Experience in urgent care or similar fast-paced clinical settings preferred 

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills required 

• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
