 We are seeking a skilled Urgent Care Physician Assistant for a 120-day locum tenens assignment at a multi-specialty clinic in California. Starting on 06/02/2025, this opportunity offers a varied schedule across two locations. The PA will work Mondays and Tuesdays from 10 AM to 6 PM at one location, Wednesdays through Fridays from 8 AM to 4:30 PM at second location, and one Saturday per month from 10 AM to 2 PM at the second location. The ideal candidate will be comfortable managing urgent care walk-ins and providing comprehensive care in a fast-paced environment. This role requires expertise in urgent care, adaptability to different clinic settings, and proficiency with the Epic electronic health record system.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Provide urgent care services for walk-in patients

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop treatment plans

• Diagnose and treat acute illnesses and injuries

• Prescribe medications and therapies as appropriate

• Utilize Epic electronic health record system for documentation

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for patient care

• Maintain accurate and timely medical records

• Adhere to all clinic policies and procedures

• Provide patient education on health maintenance and disease prevention

• Participate in quality improvement initiatives related to urgent care

• Stay updated on the latest urgent care practices and technologies

• Adapt to various clinical scenarios in a fast-paced environment

• Manage patient flow efficiently to minimize wait times
