 We are seeking a licensed Physician Assistant specializing in Urgent Care for a 120-day locum tenens assignment at a Multi-Specialty Clinic in California. Starting 06/02/2025, this role requires expertise in managing urgent care walk-ins, with an average of 3.5 patients per hour. The schedule includes split shifts between two locations on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, full days on Thursday and Friday, and one Saturday per month. This position offers the opportunity to provide critical care in a fast-paced environment across multiple locations, with a potential for assignment extension.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Provide urgent care services to walk-in patients

• Manage an average of 3.5 patients per hour

• Conduct patient assessments and diagnose acute conditions

• Prescribe appropriate treatments and medications

• Perform minor procedures as needed

• Utilize Epic electronic health record system

• Collaborate with supervising physicians and other healthcare professionals

• Ensure efficient patient flow in a fast-paced environment

• Adhere to clinic protocols and best practices in urgent care

• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records

• Adapt to working in multiple clinic locations

Additional Information:

• Experience in urgent care or emergency medicine is highly desirable
