 We are seeking a skilled Physician Assistant specializing in Women and Adolescent Health for a locum tenens position at a Multi-Specialty Clinic in California. This 60-day assignment offers a Monday to Friday schedule from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, starting on date 05/27/2025. The ideal candidate will be comfortable providing a range of women's health services, including pregnancy consultations, birth control and insertions, vaginal health care, and pre & post-partum care. The clinic serves a predominantly Spanish-speaking patient population (75%), with translators and Spanish-speaking Medical Assistants available to support communication. Job Responsibilities and Duties:

• Conduct pregnancy consultations and provide prenatal care

• Offer birth control counseling and perform contraceptive insertions

• Address vaginal health concerns and provide appropriate treatments

• Provide pre and post-partum care and support

• Perform well-woman exams and preventive health screenings

• Diagnose and treat common gynecological conditions

• Educate patients on reproductive health and wellness

• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care

• Maintain accurate and detailed medical records using Epic EHR system

• Adhere to all clinic policies and procedures

• Stay current with advancements in women's and adolescent health practices

Additional Information:

• California state physician assistant license required

• Experience in women's and adolescent health care preferred

• Experience with Epic EHR system is beneficial

• Spanish language proficiency is highly desirable but not required

• Ability to work effectively with translators and bilingual staff

• Potential for assignment extension
