Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Family Practice Physician Assistant for an exciting 24-day assignment in Colorado, starting May 13, 2026. This role involves performing comprehensive medical histories and physicals, monitoring patient conditions, and managing medications within a facility that supports adults experiencing complex behavioral health crises. The schedule typically runs during standard daytime hours.


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Obtain medical histories and perform physical examinations for patients experiencing psychiatric or complex behavioral health crises.
  • Monitor glucose levels and other vital patient parameters.
  • Assess and manage the effects of patient medications.
  • Contribute to patient care within a 16-bed Acute Treatment Unit (ATU) and residential care facility.
  • Perform other essential Family Practice duties as required.

  • Work Setting: Acute Treatment Unit (ATU) and residential care facility providing a higher level of care than a Crisis Stabilization Unit.
