Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Family Practice Physician Assistant for an exciting 24-day assignment in Colorado, starting May 13, 2026. This role involves performing comprehensive medical histories and physicals, monitoring patient conditions, and managing medications within a facility that supports adults experiencing complex behavioral health crises. The schedule typically runs during standard daytime hours.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Obtain medical histories and perform physical examinations for patients experiencing psychiatric or complex behavioral health crises.
- Monitor glucose levels and other vital patient parameters.
- Assess and manage the effects of patient medications.
- Contribute to patient care within a 16-bed Acute Treatment Unit (ATU) and residential care facility.
- Perform other essential Family Practice duties as required.
