Job Description

Our client in New Mexico seeks a dedicated Internal Medicine Physician for a 26-day assignment starting May 11, 2026. This role involves making recommendations for a healthier environment at a homeless shelter, advising medical staff, coordinating community medical care, and providing patient care with acute evaluations and emergency or bridging medications. The schedule requires on-call availability by phone from 8 am to 8 pm, five days a week.


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Make recommendations for a healthier environment at the homeless shelter.
  • Be available to advise medical staff (EMTs) at the shelter.
  • Coordinate medical care with other providers in the community.
  • Provide patient care including acute evaluation and emergency or bridging medications.
