We are seeking a licensed Psychologist for a 52-day locum tenens assignment in Arizona, starting Jan 5, 2026. This opportunity offers flexible scheduling with options for 4x10 hour shifts or 5x8 hour shifts, focusing on oversight and delivery of mental health programs within a correctional facility environment.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Maintain overall clinical responsibility for mental health programs within the facility
• Oversee completion of mental health screenings and evaluations
• Perform sick call visits and chronic care visits
• Conduct rounds in all units
• Formulate working diagnoses, develop and implement treatment plans, and evaluate or modify therapeutic regimens to promote positive patient outcomes
• Coordinate, lead, and participate in educational training activities related to mental health care

Additional Information

• Must hold an active license to practice psychology in Arizona
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certifications required
• Experience in corrections is preferred, but not required
• Start date is contingent upon completion of DOC clearance, required documentation, and background checks
