Job Description
Our client in Oregon is seeking a dedicated Family Practice Physician Assistant for a 120-day assignment starting Jul 27, 2026. This role involves seeing a diverse range of cases, primarily focusing on general family practice duties, managing acute and chronic conditions, and performing preventative care appointments with a typical schedule of 8a-5p.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Provide care for patients of all ages, addressing same and next-day appointments for urgent illnesses and injuries.
- Manage chronic conditions effectively.
- Conduct sports physicals, screenings, and vaccinations.
- Perform annual wellness visits, physicals, and Medicare Wellness checks.
- Handle well child visits, general check-ups, and care for complex and geriatric patients.
- Facilitate home health referrals and transitional care/post ER follow-ups.
- Address GYN/Well woman needs and various acute conditions.
- Refer to specialists as needed for comprehensive patient care.
