Job Description

We are seeking an Optometrist for a 24-day assignment with our client in TN, starting May 18, 2026. This role involves conducting comprehensive eye exams, diagnosing and treating ocular disease, and prescribing and fitting eyeglasses. You will advise patients, families, and facilities on follow-up care while working Monday-Friday, 8:30a-4p, visiting assisted living and nursing homes.


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Conduct comprehensive eye exams
  • Diagnose and treat ocular disease
  • Prescribe, fit, and adjust eyeglasses
  • Advise patients, families, and facilities on follow-up care
  • Visit assisted living homes and nursing homes within a 2-hour radius
  • Manage cases involving ocular disease, ocular degeneration, and cataracts
