With the news that Congress has delayed the ICD-10 start date to 2015, healthcare organizations have an extra year to brush up on their ICD-10 codes. I found Healthcare IT News’s infographic that highlights some of the strangest ICD-10 codes, including code V91.07XD, which is used to report a “burn due to water skis on fire”. I’m not sure how one manages to do that, but rest assured there is a code for it. Check it out, and don’t mind the October 1, 2014 date.
